Built during the 17th century in the village of Saint-Léger-des-Prés (Ille-et-Vilaine) located just off Mont-Saint-Michel, between Saint-Malo and Rennes, the château de La Croix Chemin has often been remodeled during the past 300 years so to be as it appears nowadays.
At the beginning of the 21st century, the castle was set off again on new adventures, under the protection of its two new owners. The keys to the castle have been handed over to them on January 2nd 2014.
Once upon a time owned by the late Earl Job Le Borgne de la Tour, who passed away in 2000, both the castle and its outbuildings, together with the 4 hectares park have suffered from time and bad weather. Four years of major renovation have been necessary to restore the place to its original splendour.
